Overview
Expert management of vascular lesions including hemangiomas, port-wine stains (nevus flammeus), spider angiomas, and telangiectasias. We use advanced vascular lasers (yellow laser, pulsed dye laser, Nd:YAG) to selectively destroy abnormal blood vessels while preserving surrounding tissue. Treatment approach depends on lesion type, depth, and patient age. Early intervention in childhood hemangiomas prevents complications and improves outcomes. We provide realistic expectations including possible multiple treatments and potential residual discoloration. Combination approaches with other modalities may be employed for resistant lesions. Post-treatment care includes sun protection and proper wound care.
